Doris S. Barker 1930-2022

The Barker family welcomes you to this Memorial Site, lovingly created by Doris’ eldest son Kris, with photos selected by the four Barker kids. When Mom died in August 2022, we were left again with a giant hole, but reading the many sympathy cards and emails, looking through treasured family pictures, and spending time together reminiscing about special family times has been a great source of comfort as we grieve.

We were so pleased to be able to gather together with family and friends for her memorial service, to honor and celebrate her amazing life. We thank all who were able to attend or watch online. The memories you’ve shared and your love and support has helped us immensely. In 2021, our family planted a Red Twig Dogwood in the Memorial garden at Tibbetts for Dad, and it was Mom’s wish to add a water feature next to it in her memory. We will do that in the spring.

We hope this site will be a comfort to you; a place you can go to reflect on your own memories of our Mom, and to leave some of your own thoughts in the Stories section.
